Today version 1.5 of ChannelRUSH was released to production servers after exiting a testing and limited use stage. While the changes from their previous version 1.0 were not extensive enough to warrant naming this release a 2.0 release, this release focuses on implementing speed and process enhancements as well as changes that were frequently requested by the customers who use ChannelRUSH.
New features include…
- The ability not to have to create a separate room type in ChannelRUSH to accommodate a single channel that might have an extra room type defined that other channels a user manages does not
- Extending the automatic rate calculation to cover all rate plans, as well as creating calculated rates based off of one single rate
- Extended control over the configurable reporting feature to include more channel specific information
- Control which page a user sees first when logging on to the system
- Set the default language on a per user level
- Archiving of old data
- Ability to turn reminder messages on or off on a per user basis
- Accounts that manage more than one hotel can set access on a per user basis to determine which hotels those users have access to manage
- Many international standards and practices were included to accommodate ChannelRUSH's expansion into Europe
